Staff & Leadership
Dennis Lee | English Pastor & Bible Teacher
Email: dennis.lee@cfcberkeley.org
Pastor Dennis has been in the Bay Area since 2011 but originally hails from the great state of Texas, growing up in Sugar Land, a Houston suburb. He is happily married to Dana Lee and has two kids, Madeline and Austin. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and received his M.Div. at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dennis enjoys cooking, eating, traveling, and playing sports (football, basketball, softball). He also cheers for all Houston teams and his University of Texas Longhorns.
Theo Ma | English Pastor & Bible Teacher
Email: theo.ma@cfcberkeley.org
Theo and his wife Dorothy both grew up in the Bay Area, but met at UCLA during their undergraduate studies. There they shed their loyalties to the Bay, having been convinced by the tacos that Los Angeles is better after all. But God, in his wisdom, has brought Theo and Dorothy back to Berkeley to serve Vinewood CFC and the community, which they do with great joy. Theo received his M. Div from The Master's Seminary, and is eager to preach the Word and to cultivate a love for the Scriptures among the church family. When he isn't studying, writing, or meeting with church members, he is enjoying beautiful things like men's clothing, specialty coffee, music, properly-cooked meats, and sunsets.
Victor Zou | English Congregation Deacon
Victor was first introduced to Vinewood through Crossroads Christian Fellowship, and has been a member since. He's passionate about developing community, and is a firm believer that Godly fellowship is one of the greatest pleasures in life. At Vinewood, he serves on the AV team on Sundays, and part of the Deacon board. During the day, he works as a high school English teacher in San Francisco. When he's not doing any of those things, he's probably feverishly trying to finish a book, traveling abroad, or eating out with friends.
Jonathan Wong | English Congregation Deacon
Jonathan first moved to the Bay Area after graduating from college. He began teaching special education in Oakland and spent his weekends looking for a new church he could call home. At the same time, he met his now-wife, Esther, who had been a member at CFC for several years. After prayerful reflection and discussion, Jonathan began attending Esther’s church in 2020. Over the next several years, God faithfully grew his heart in cheerful service to the local body of Christ. Jonathan now serves in many different aspects of Children’s Ministry including Friday night Little Sheep Fellowship, summer VBS, and Sunday morning’s Kids for Christ program. He still works in public education and enjoys computer hardware, traveling, and finding delicious eats around the Bay with his wife.
Deacon Richard Lu | English Congregation Deacon
Richard moved to the Bay area in 2014 from Georgia for his wife, Olivia, though he didn't know it at the time. They now have two energetic young boys, Peter and Ezra, and have been members at Vinewood since 2020. Richard is passionate about discipleship and counseling in the local church, and is working towards ACBC certification. When he's not with his wife or kids, he works as a machine learning engineer to prevent people getting scammed.
